Follow Up Evaluations
After the initial assessment, the follow-up evaluation ensures the employee has successfully complied with the recommended education or treatment plan. During this session, the SAP reviews documentation from the provider, verifies completion, and assesses the employee’s readiness to return to safety-sensitive duties. A written report is then submitted to the employer/DER outlining eligibility for return-to-duty testing and continued monitoring requirements.
